Dain de Souza Appointed to Leadership Roles Within ABA Business Bankruptcy Committee

de Souza Legal, P.A. founder Dain de Souza has been appointed to two leadership roles within the American Bar Association Business Law Section’s Business Bankruptcy Committee for its 2026–2029 term.

Dain will serve as Chair of the Partnerships & Limited Liability Entities in Bankruptcy Subcommittee and Co-Chair of the new AI Practice Management Subcommittee.

Dain has served for years in leadership roles with subcommittees of the Business Bankruptcy Committee. In 2023, he received the Committee’s Kathryn R. Heidt Memorial Award, its highest honor, which recognizes outstanding achievement in bankruptcy education or scholarship or significant service to the Committee.

The Business Bankruptcy Committee serves as a leading resource of the ABA Business Law Section on matters involving business bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, and other insolvency situations through educational programming, publications, and initiatives concerning bankruptcy procedure, policy, and reform.
